Brian Payne
I purchased a new shotgun and wanted an extended bolt release to put on before two upcoming weekend 3-gun shoots. I normally run Nordic Components buttons but they require you to drill and tap the factory button to install, and I needed this shotgun up and running now. I decided to try the Progressive Machine and Tool extended release due to the fact it requires no alteration to the weapon. Which means I had a pretty good chance to not screw anything up. I have to say this is a very nice piece of gear. Works better than I expected it would. Fast delivery, easily installed by someone of limited mechanical skills, it works, and it looks good. Kudos to a nice product.
ken hebert
It just double stick tapes on, right?
Brian Payne
Yes, but it sticks "really well".
tewlman
thanks for the kudos Brian! The adhesive used to mount the bolt release was specifically recommended by 3M for the application and will hold up under rigorous use. I also wanted to make sure it was easy to install, the world is complicated enough...
