Slim Whitman
Hi everyone - Does anyone have experience running flip up or fixed iron sights on Yankee Hill 45 degree angle mounts? Pics and thoughts? Thanks in advance - sw
J-Ho
Why run 'em at 45 degrees? Straight up on top works best. I've seen people use them, but I would think since the rear sight is set so far forward, as compared to a 'real' iron sight, it might be quicker to go with a dot sight of some sort. Although, I've seen people run the iron sights JP has pretty darn fast.

el pres
I went through all of this in a previous thread and decided to go with the JP handguard sight on my JP. I can go lightning fast with these sights now that I got use to them, faster then any red dot that I've used. The only thing to remember is that you have a very short sight radius out there and takeing 40-50yd. shots , because you dont have time to go to your main sight, you better make sure they are dead center. Ask me how I know this ??
