If you go into progressive machine's forum the same guy built that 6" that is posted there. We shot them both sunday and they shoot about the same. I had already had the parts together when he decided to build the 6". I'll have to steal it for a match when he want to shoot single stack to see if I can tell a difference between the 2 as they are almost identical in balance.

right now its a steel guide rod and 16# spring. I'll try a 14# in it but I've always ran 16# and like them.

If you get really bored try a 12#, you may like that better than a 14#.

Or if you're really, really bored you can try an 8 # spring which is what I've been running. But you need your gun to be really broken in for it to run reliably.
