Bear1142
Does anyone have any experience using a Hard chromed rifle compensator? How well is it holding up? Is it starting to flake or get burned away? For that matter what about your pistol compensators? Thanks, Erik
dickwholliday
Sorry but i can't comment on the hard chrome but i noticed that my Berquist AR comp is seriously eroding the wall in front of the first baffle the pressure gets to and i doublt that hard chrome or anything else will stop it....fortunately i've got three more walls for it to burn through...D I C K
joshua
Hard chroming will help it a little, why do you think they hard chrome the barrels of M-16s, except for corrosion control? Errosion of the barrel lead due to sustained firing.
Chriss Grube
Actually the military barrels are hard chromed for corrosion resistance. Doesn't have squat to do with errosion. It might help but that is just a side benefit.
