Vince Pinto
Chris, Just trying to catch up on all the posts I've missed recently, and I note you're still waiting for an answer, so here goes: For IPSC: Open: Any calibre 9mm or higher can make Major provided the bullet weight is 120grain or higher and you chrono at 160PF or higher. Standard: Minimum .40 calibre and chrono at 170PF or higher to make Major. Modified: Minimum .40 calibre and chrono at 170PF or higher to make Major. Production: All calibres 9mm or higher scored Minor provide you chrono at 125PF or higher. Revolver: Any calibre 9mm or higher can make Major provided you chrono at 170PF or higher. I'll let somebody else answer for the USPSA Divisions.
