davecutts Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Prado IPSC is pleased to announce we will be hosting several Introduction to Practical Shooting Seminars. Classes would be held Sunday June 1st, Sunday July 2nd, and Sunday August 3rd. at Prado Olympic Shooting Park, taught by USPSA Grandmaster and Prado IPSC match director David Cutts. Seminar will start at 9:00 am plan four to five hours. Introduction to Practical shooting. -For the beginner -Safety. -Practical shooting overview (USPSA, Steel Challenge, Action Pistol, IDPA) -Stance -Grip -Accuracy -Draw -Reload -Basic movement -Have fun while being safe What you would need. -Working pistol, minimum 9mm -2 magazines, 4 or more recommended. -Secure holster. -Secure Magazine pouches. -200 rounds minimum, 400 would be better; we'll shoot till you’re done. These classes will be presented at no charge. A $15.00 range fee will be charged by the Range Master, you know insurance and liability stuff. Additionally Prado IPSC will offer each student two free match entries (June match excluded), if the student joins USPSA. Once again you will be asked to pay the Range Master. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome, but the seminar will be geared to the beginner. Tell your friends, relatives, and coworkers. If more than ten people want to show, I'll have to recruit assistance so please email or PM to reserve a slot, day of will be first come first served.
