sv45
Last night i was packing my guns with slide glide after cleaning and a great marketing idea came to me. If brain could market slide glide in a tube to fit a grease gun, then we could have smiths drill and tap our guns and install zerk fittings all over our guns. Wait there is more, he could sell anodized aluminum in colors or titanium zerk fittings. Special anodized light weight grease guns with a holster so between stages you could pump your blaster full! The list is growing... fittings, grease tubes, holsters, high performance grease guns... this is a gold mine! No kidding, Brian, Just received my order of slide glide and it works great. Anyone who has not tried it should give it a go!
benos
sv45, That was the first thing I thought of after using the grease initially - put some zerks on that sucker and pump 'er up! be
EricW
What about a needle hole in each side of the slide with a channel milled into the rails for the 'Glide to flow into? It could work!
benos
Yea, and eventually we could have the entire top end with a "directional" lubrication system, allowing you to just "pump out the old as you pump in the new." I'll get with SVI on this one and get back to you when it's in production.
Duane Thomas
I'll write an article on it!
diehli
Heck, run a channel down the left hand side and you could use the zerk as a slide racker for the open shooters (sorry lefties, you're SOL unless you put it more forward on the gun). Find another position that might help in "point shooting" for limited shooters.
