shred
Dave was a crotchety old coot and he'd be the first to admit it, but also taught a bunch of people how to make a nice 1911. He posted briefly on here as 'Captain Eagle' and I have some late 80's Front Sights with his ads in them. I'll miss his occasional e-mails
Radical Precision Designs
It is indeed a sad day. I always looked forward to see his latest pet-peeve, or another picture of his "checkered" guns. Dan Burwell
He will be missed. I remember one time I needed a jig he had for a 1911 project I was working on. I asked if I could either buy or borrow it from him. He said sure and sent it to me, when I asked how much he wanted for it or when he wanted it back, he said no money please keep it for me that way if I ever need it again I won't have to go looking around the shop for it. Just one example of his willingness to help a stranger out.
