Religious Shooter
Looking for a tape gun for targets. Anybody have any experience with these? T-4000 Semi-Auto Target Taper Quick Patch Deluxe Tape Gun Are there any other types? Can you use the Target Barn rolls (or any of the other pasters that you normally find at the major matches) with the T-4000? Any recommendations? EricW
I have the T-4000. I wouldn't shoot paper without it.
open17
Had a T4000 for a few years---even bought one for the wife. Works well, pasters are kind of small, pretty foolproof. Club has a couple of the Quick Patch guns. Larger paster, they work OK but seem a little bit more finicky that the T4000's. There was a supply problem with them in the past, but that seems to have been resolved. Pasters do not interchange between the two. Bill
racegun9
The T-4000 uses a special paster. You or your club will have to buy or supply yourself. The quick patch type uses the paster rolls you see at most match's. Its available from Shooters Connection, Target Barn, and CED Thats the one I use and would recomend. HSMITH
ThreeGlockMike on this board has a paster gun that absolutely rocks, and cheap pasters that actually match the color of a target. Shoot him a PM or email to see what it is and what it costs.
walter hornby
i have owned both and and as far as i am concerned the Quick Patch Deluxe Tape Gun is the better one of the two. it is eaiser to load and the patches are bigger.
kimel
My club has the T-4000s and they are nice but use a special paster which is small. As targets start to get chewed up and the small pasters don't work all that well. I personally have the Quick Patch and prefer it over the T-4000s, hands down. It uses bigger pasters which cover bigger holes better. The pasters for the Quick Patch are also available from many sources so you can choose the brand you like best. The pasters for the T-4000 come from one source, take 'em or leave 'em.
