slavex
damnation, I have no idea which I'd prefer. I don't think it'll bother me either way. But I want a set of the Pepsi blue ones (or black? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm) I'm used to full checkering so...........
Jeff686
Hey Mo! How'd you do the blue grip? Is that tape or epoxy/sand or what?
Mo Hepworth
Hey Mo! How'd you do the blue grip? Is that tape or epoxy/sand or what? Skateboard/snowboard stores have all kinds of different colored stuff....red, blue, grey, light grey, glow in the dark white...etc... I found the light grey and dark grey have the best grip,...while the color stuff is not as course. The blue stuff did not stick as well a few times,...and kept coming off. The grey stuff on it now sticks like glue...very aggressive.
ks-shooter
vote NOW; smooth top on both sides or not?Checkering is happening right now and R&D is finalized on Tue eve/ Wed day. If we're gonna do smooth tops it's gonna be on both sides for two reasons: - lefties - trigger finger should have smooth surface to ride on as well Smooth on Both sides (edited to specify smooth on the TOP) works for me. I have no need to checkering up there and reducing the grip in that area just makes it easier for me. Originally I was going to get the silver color ones and file away (relieve) the top area on the left, but I don't want to do it to a nicely colored set.
