blkbrd
My good friend and our own BE forum member Tony Howell AKA Hotwings2001 passed away last night at age 41 after a very short fight with cancer of the esophagus. You may remember his smiling face Open gun in hand from recent Gator Classic, Mississippi State or Florida State IPSC championships, or any of the local Central Florida 3-gun or IPSC matches. No words can say how wrong it is to have a dear friend stolen away in the prime of his life.

Bigbadaboom
I recieved the e-mail and sat astonished for about 10 minutes. Tony was absolutely one of the nicest/friendliest people in the sport and the World. I was wondering, just yesterday, where he was and why I hadn't seen him in a while. This news is heart wrenching. Our prayers for his families comfort a well being in this time of mourning.

AA-Wolf
So very sorry. Tony was always smiling, no matter how things were going. He was one of the guys you enjoyed having on the squad. Still can't believe it. Condolences from my family and the whole Malabar Gang. God must have wanted a new shooting partner is all I can figure. He will truly be missed by us... blkbrd
Saturdays 92 shooter SCPSA Titusville match was dedicated as a memorial to Tony. His wake was Sunday at his home. I gave the family the results with the memorial statement at the top along with the cards, and they were extremely touched. Thank you to the Space Coast Practical Shooting match organizers this went along way with the family, coworkers and friends.
