SV_shooter
I just wanted to convey my very special thanks to a very helpful member of the BE community. HSmith has been helping me work out the kinks in my blasters for the last 6 months. We email, PM, and talk to eachother via telephone and He helps with stuff I would never question a gun builder that didn't build my guns unless I was interested in purchasing a gun from them. Ultimately I am interested in one of his 6" builds, but for now I figured I would try his magazines (From Chuck At Shooters Connection)in my near new Brazos Pro 5 open blaster. I was havin some technical difficulties with my gun after I purchased his mags. (my gun did not come with mags so I had nothing to compare them to. I wrote a thread in the open gun technical about my problems. HSmith came to the rescue as did many of you fellow BE'ers and was appreciated very much. HSmith Pm'ed me his phone number. We discussed the problems I was having and it turned out it was nothing mag related at all. In fact after I realized my loads were WAY to long, and had my extractor tuned, the gun has fired perfectly with all 3 mags I bought from Howard for over 2k rounds. I am about to order some more HSmith 140's for my new baby I picked up from Zerwas. Howard you are the man! Thank you for helping me work the bugs out. Your tech support and customer satisfaction is 110% for me. I hope others are as fortunate as myself to purchase your mags and guns and realize the asset you are to this community! I think it will only be a matter of time before HSmith becomes a household name to USPSA shooters like Bob or Dan, Venry or Derek. Keep up the great work Howard! buddy_fuentes
Funny thing just happened. I was getting on this site to applaud Howard Smith and his magazines when I found this post. Some of the ranges we shoot at are composed of sand/clay. With rain added to the mix we have had some terrible conditions for dropped magazines. I have noticed many magazine related failures from other competitors. Even when they run a brush through the mag between stages. I pick up my dropped mags and hit them against my leg to knock off any sand or clay and start stuffing bullets in it. My mags are HSmith tuned mags and they keep on running and running like the Energizer Bunny. After shooting just such a match, yesterday, I took my mags apart and could not believe the sand inside them and they ran flawless. I had to share this and thank Howard. Thanks Howard. Chris Keen
His mags are the sharpest looking mags I've ever seen. High speed - Low drag!
Squishy
I would also like to take this time and say Thank You to Howard . Thanks Howard. Howard built me a very nice 6 in Limited gun and a bunch of his tuned mags. After a little grinding here and there on the gun it fits me like a glove and runs like a swiss watch. Just recently Howard gave me a 170 mm mag for my open gun to try. WOW . Way cool to start a course of fire and have 30 rounds in the gun. Thanks again Howard. Squishy
Yes 30 rounds. After the spring settles in I think the mag will hold 30 rounds and 1 in the pipe. I can almost get the 30th round in the mag.
AWLAZS
I have some of Howards mags. They are great. I spoke with Howard on the phone after I realized I couldn't count. It was like talking to an old friend.

Pat Miles
Oh hell, let me pile on here. It's one thing for a person to do the outstanding work that quite a few folks have attested to here. It is, in my humble opinion, above and beyond when the same person will take the time to school someone who is trying to learn the finer points of 1911/2011 style shootin' irons. Thank you Howard for always taking the time to answer my questions. Your replies are concise and easy to understand and are gretly appreciated.
