GentlemanJim
Sooo....just what is the ballistic coefficient of a squirrel? I noticed they fly head forward...tail spinning to maintain controled forward flite Impressive stability If I were a squirrel...I would be in line saying ...ME Next...ME Next Jim
cking
I think he needs some rotational spin to stabilize the projectile. What is also fun when fish aren't biting is to tie a peanut and small casting sinker onto your line then cast to where squirrels will find the peanut. Then enjoy the fun of reeling them in, they will fight like small bass!!! Things to do when bored
snertley
May I suggest latex surgical tubing instead of bungies. . You should increase speed and range by about 3 fold! And everyone likes more power!!!

GentlemanJim
We had this here before.. wasn't the thread locked and deleted or something.. lol Its been around several times.. Some folks were quite upset with it.... cruelty and all.... I personally dont find it to be particularly cruel...and I doubt the squirrels were injured...(unless they T-boned a tree stump) But it does bring up some very interesting questions If the squirrel has his mouth open....is he considered....a hollow point?? And if his butt whistles when he flys ....is he a hollow base?? The squirrel is also of a greater caliber than .50...so does BATF consider him to be a destrucitve device?? and would the transfer tax on a squirrel be more than for a chipmonk? Merlin Orr
Thanks, Jake... but I want to add one last reply to this thread. I am really sorry I somehow missed this thread and, by missing it, let it go for a single reply. I personally do not find it funny to see any animal used in IMO such a shameful manner. I am also sure it is not something that Brian or most members want on this forum. Had I seen it I would not have let it go ... at all. Just my opinion... but in this case thats enough.
