Western NC is also a great choice. I can shoot Spartanburg SC (1st, 4th, 5th Sat), Columbia SC (2nd Sat), Lake Lure NC (3rd Sat), Statesville NC (3rd Sun), Salisbury NC (2nd Sat) within an hour drive from Charlotte, as well as the North-Western Georgia Clubs, more North and South Carolina clubs within a big longer drive. Plus there are rumors of possibly 1 or 2 more clubs getting started.

That also places the incredible SC Sectional, GA Sectional, Area 6, and Florida matches within driving range. The Florida Open is about 10 hours down the interstate. Summer Blast is about 7 hours in the other direction. Eastern Tenn is not too far either.

And thats not even looking at IDPA, SASS, and a small helping of 3 Gun as well.

Standard Deompublican stuff - the more folks that move to AZ from CA the more of this sort of thing surfaces. Our sport is staggering anyway, what with the current accelerating cost of components. But then again it might bring a money crowd into the sport - wouldn't hurt.

We shoot while we can - and shoot a lot.
