load specs for major 9

i have accumulated enough brass to start reloading and i want to load major . my buddy gave me about 500ct of 147 grain HP XTP BT and i want to use them up so whats a good formula to be able to make major 9?? mr carver directed me here to ask

A 124 or 125 JHP would be a better option to work the comp. Assume you're working up an open gun load.

Try the lighter bullets.

I understand using up what was given to you, but you will be far happier in the long run with lighter bullets.

I use HS 6 and Silhouette w/MG 121 IFP bullet. No problem making major in a G34.
