snaps
I was just stripping my gun to clean my trigger assembly and it turns out the trigger bar has snapped! the trigger bar has seemed to have just broken in half just under the seer at the most rear ward point its a very clean break. I thought this was really odd. has anyone else had a problem like this? i havent noticed any problems with the gun before but im tucking the gun away untill i get a new trigger bar. sinnsyk
Hey I've never seen anything like that before, but with guns as everything else, things break. I've only replaced one trigger bar many-many years ago and it was from wearing out the top parts that interacts with the slide. I've got the bars in stock so call me. LeoHallak
Any chance I could get you to snap a picture of the break? Thanks leo
Intel6
I had that happen with my old (early 90's) Tanfoglio "IPSC ULTRA" a few years ago. I thought it was a strange break but i just got a new part from Brownells and installed it with no problems. Neal in AZ
sinnsyk
Hey snaps, I got your order and I sent you an email about it. You ordered a trigger bar for small frame and firing pin for large frame. Check your email and lets make sure you get the parts for the correct size frame, unless you're the lucky owner of both a large and a small frame... Wow thats crazy, never thought to see a break there. Hell of a polish job though on that. Hopefully, Henning can get you taken care of quick. I have taken my guns apart so many times i am getting pretty good at it, I just hate the plunger and having to worry about that tiny spring and detent. They are hard to find if you launch them. heh Leo
snaps
I would have never thought it would have broken in that area, its pretty thick steel. Im using a springfield p9 cz clone for ipsc for the interim. (i just have to get used to the double action trigger)
