So where does this pistol fit in as far as classification?

It has a single stack magazine but holds 9 per mag. Download to 8 and shoot SS?

It has a DA/SA trigger, production?

Find some mags that hold 10 and shoot L-10?

Am interested to here your thoughts, and does anyone even make 10 round magazines for this thing?

The S&W 1006 will work in either L-10, Limited (with a disadvantage to Hi-Caps) and Production. Download the ammo in production cause major scoring is not allowed in Production.. The SSD is based on the 1911 pattern so it is not allowed in SSD. Also if you are real daring you can shoot it in Open

I never saw 10 rd mags for the 1006
