MichiganShootist
Ed was a "died in the wool" University of Michigan man and an "early" retiree from General Motors. When I met him in 2000 we hit it off right away. We both loved to shoot and to ride our Hondas... so we had a lot of great bike rides attending shooting matches around the state. He was in California visiting his kids when he contracted a chest cold that he just couldn't shake. He went to a walk-in clinic last week. They diagnosed him with penumonia.... and put him in the hospital on a massive regimen of antibiotics. The next day he died in his sleep at age 63. Ed is the second close shooting friend I have lost in the past 60 days. Both were my age or younger. It's been a really rough Winter.
