GlockCanMan
I have a spare EoTech scope that is not in use at this time and am considering putting it on a open gun that I am building. Does anyone have any experience using one on a handgun? I know they are great on AR15's.
Garrett
Some people tried the Holosight on open guns when it first came out. The Holo was built by for Bushnell by EoTech. I think the general consensus was that it was pretty heavy. (the term "HoloBrick" comes to mind). The EoTech has that guard around it too, doesn't it? I'd think that would add even more weight. But if you already have the scope, get a mount and try it out. Edited January 29, 2008 by Garrett
Flexmoney
I shot one (holosight) on a buddy's 22 rimfire pistol at a Steel Challenge match. That circle-dot reticle really rocked. It probably is a bit heavy, but nobody told me that...and tore up some really good times that day. (22 rimfire is realy fun at steel challenge) I'm with Garrett...if you have one handy, why not give it a try.
