Fullauto_Shooter
OK - I've searched and searched and cannot find this precise topic addressed anywhere, so here goes. I've got a REM 1100 Competition Master and was wondering which choke delivers the best accuracy using Remington Managed Recoil Rifled Slugs?? I've shot these slugs before with an IC choke with acceptable (barely) accuracy. I've also toyed with the idea of using the supplied Rifled Slug Choke tube but have heard it's a bad idea to use them with slugs that are already rifled. Many here seem to use IC or M chokes with slugs. I've also learned that Full Choke is probably not the best option. In the end, I'm gonna have to take the shotgun to the range and try all the chokes to see what works best for me and my gun - but I'm trying to get some ideas based on the collective experience of the group. Please hit me with your feedback. Thanks
D.Hayden
I usually only use IC or LtMod.. no problems with either.

JUST make sure you have it screwed in TIGHT... mine came loose in a match at Harvard.. at the end of the stage my barrel had a nice "bulge" and the choke was gone. One of those perfect Alphas was not a slug.. but a choke tube+ slug combo.
