AikiDale
OW! That hurt! I learned many, many years ago to read groups of words. I had to slow down and see each word to make sense of that.
JimmyZip
Some people are sight readers and some are not. Wife's a teacher and was a reading coach for several years. Strange thing is that how you read can have very little to do with comprehension. The way the mind decodes or fails to is quite an interesting topic. I showed her that and she pulled out a book and showed me something similar.

ChrisStock
I had no difficulty at all getting through it, but then again, I'm one of those folks that reads a hundred pages before turning out the lights. I have seen so many typos in my readings that I'm just not fazed any longer.
Jim Norman
Looks like a lot of the typing I regularly post! If it wasn't for spell checker, almost all of my writings would look like that! Actually it is very interesting that one can read that at near normal speed and comprehend the meaning. I have seen that same peice or a very similar one on a construction site. I think there it was refering to the Specifications book for the project! Jim
Middle Man
I dimly recall a study that was published a while back on this subject. The nutshell was that a majority of people can read the words even if the letters are not in the correct sequence.
