benos
I feel like we have some pretty search-savy members around here... I spent quite a while searching for a source of 2" x 5" clear, reclosable 4mil plastic (poly) bags w/hang hole - but I can't come up with anything. I found a couple sources for 2mil bags - but I want 4mil, only. Also I'd like to buy them at qty 100, or better yet, qty 1000+ pricing. Even 2.5" x 5" or 6" would be acceptable (3" is too wide), but I can't find those either. It seems that 4mil bags of those dimensions are not that common. So if anyone can find me a volume source for those bags, I'll send them a Slide-Glide Lite and a Slide-Glide Standard (#1), in my brand new tubes. (They would be the first 2 tubes to leave the building.) (To answer the question that's bound to come up - the moment I get the packaging finalized, I'll have them in my online store.) be

bgary
How about 2-1/2 x 6 ? http://www.gtzip.com/ziplock/hanghole4mil.html They have 2x5 with hanghole in 2mil, but not 4mil... but it might be worth a call to see if they can make 'em. There are also so auctions on eBay for 2x5 bags with hang-hole, but they are cellophane, not poly http://cgi.ebay.com/200-2x5-Clear-Resealab...7QQcmdZViewItem B Edited January 18, 2008 by bgary
benos
try these guys they will have ithttp://www.associatedbag.com Item Number: 61-02 2-1/2" x 6" Minigrip/Zip-Pak® Zipper Bag with Hang Hole (4 mil) (Catalog Page: 8) They look like nice bags - but they're savagely priced at $0.072/bag. My packaging budget couldn't afford that. It's a nice site though in that they pretty much have everything. But the prices are a tad high compared to the site's I buy packing/shipping products from. I should have been more specific on price. I'm looking for a price range in the zone of the 4mil bags on this page: http://www.royalbag.com/4_mil_clear_reclos...g_hole_bags.asp How about 2-1/2 x 6 ?http://www.gtzip.com/ziplock/hanghole4mil.html They have 2x5 with hanghole in 2mil, but not 4mil... but it might be worth a call to see if they can make 'em. B I found quite a few of those in 2mil - but I really want 4 mil. I've been two A LOT of bag sites... I wonder how many actually make their own bags. Because you see definite patterns in types and sizes. Maybe they're all from China.

warpspeed
Why the hang hole ? My experience has been if U-Line does not have it, it probably doesn't exist. You may have to go with a regular bag and punch the hang hole yourself.

Flatland Shooter
That's what it's looking like. I may have to rig up a jig and get the punch going... An adjustable hole punch available at an office supply will do the trick. You can set it for 1 to 4 holes at different widths. Depending on the punch, you may need to stay within an inch or so of the border. Bill
