eric nielsen
Dude, that's like the pistol version of the HK MP7. What's your capacity with 170 mags?
dirtypool40
I think it's a .40 cal headstamp, or a necked down 10mm case so it should be what 26ish? I remember a Smokin Hole pistol in some gun rag, SV set up for .224 boz. How about a reg'lar comp? and stick the front site out there, instead of on the slide. gans
I think that the owners use them mostly for varmint hunting and playing around. Yes, it is a 10mm necked down to a 224 bullet. Your not dealing with a very powerful cartridge. 40-45gr. bullets at 2200-2400fpm. Less than a 100pf. The recoil is a bit different because of the slower burning powder. Sort of feels mushy. I don't know if a comp would work very well, it might slow the slide down too much. I'm not sure it even needs one. The owner of the last one that I built, left the end of the barrel plain. I think that he is going to play around with something different.
shred
I think it's a .40 cal headstamp, or a necked down 10mm case so it should be what 26ish?I remember a Smokin Hole pistol in some gun rag, SV set up for .224 boz. How about a reg'lar comp? and stick the front site out there, instead of on the slide. 10mm down to take .223 bullets as I remember. Long ago STI had one as one of their table-guns at matches, but the 'inventor' of the Boz didn't like civilian sales much and kept claiming IP rights on various things. Looked like a .22 LR at one and and a .40 at the other
Adam B
that caliber is bad to the bone, it shoots through kevlar and all sorts of bullet proof things at close range, I always wanted one but never could find a use for it.
ipscbob
Who needs a use?? Looks like fun!

uscbigdawg
Pretty sure it was a LE/Federal design and the info on it knifing through armor I recall being true. Scary stuff. Rich
stockton
Only need 3,000 FPS for major! A local guy built one a few years back. WAY cool. No recoil, but loud.
D-Man
.224 BOZ was another one of those Great Idea rounds that unfortunately never stuck. It's a great concept though...
