Truegent2004
My club is going to use classic targets this year for some of our stages. I'm in charge of researching which vendor is best for price and quality. I see from the USPSA vendor list that I can get 100@$49 plus shipping from Shooters Connection. Anyplace better or experience with Shooters Connection target ordering out there?

If you buy 1000 total i will give you the 1000 price even if mixed. this gets the price to a point I dont think it can be beat. I also have a possible new way to ship them that is really reasonable. We did ship them today but I could have swore they were the regular targets. I looked it up and that is what you ordered. I hope you didnt mean to order the classics. I think I ordered "regular targets", you know, the UN-PC ones with heads. If you shopped the turtles that's OK, no worries

Jim Norman
And the confusion above points out why the Turtle Target should NOT have been called "Classic". The rest of the world may be on the Metric System, but we in the US are not (7.62 and 5.56 aside) Maybe it is time that in addition to a separate rulebook, we have our own target names? The Metric will henceforth be the "Standard" and the so-called "Classic" will be either the "Stop-Sign" or the "Turtle" if not formally, at least as a colloquial name that will be in common usage, thus to reduce the confusion. Oh and BTW, Chuck is great to deal with. Jim
JFD
I could say something unkind about whoever came up with "classic" for the turtle target. I score well with this target and like them, but they are hardly "classic". The metric should be "classic" and the turtle should be "PC". I've ordered targets from Alco, Target Barn and Chuck. I don't think there's a big price difference between them, but Chuck's service blows everyone else away. His pasters are some of the best as well. DaG
Another vote for Chuck!!! He always supports the sport. There's always something in the goodie bags from SC at a big match. DaG

Steve Moneypenny
Dave Zimmerman at the Target Barn Puts a lot into our sport, and makes great targets. Chuck Bradley at shooters connection Does also. It's always a tough choice. To me it really depends on which one i'm going to be seeing at a local or state match. That way we can avoid shipping.
