What do you do for a living?

Recommended Posts

I was just talking with a buddy about the wide variety of people that shoot. (As well as the variety of wide people who shoot, me included). Anyway I was just wondering, what everyone does for a living. It might be fun to see what type of professions we get here.

Store General Manager for Sears

I have been with them for the past 4 1/2 years

before that

Manager for Dicks Sporting Goods

Manager for Circuit City

Manager for Best Buy started there in 1992 at their 75th store

I have now been in retail as a manager for the past 15 years, before that there was another 4 years at SuperStars while in Highschool.

So I now have 19 years, and I swear that this will be my last Day After Thanksgiving and holiday season in retail!!!!

Anybody need someone with 19 years of retail experience managing up to $40 million in sales and over 150 employees and over $6 million in inventory, I know a guy........ ;)

Seriously, Federal LE.

<_< Wow I had no Idea that we had a problem with Secret Squirrels that we needed a Federal Agent just to deal with them. :surprise: I will let the ones in my attic know "The Man" is after them.

I manage an IT Help Desk operation for just over 1K users for a large-ish university that has delusions of grandure (although our men's b-ball team is ranked in the top 10 this week).

Also an EMT and city Planning & Zoning commissioner. My unpaid work is FAR more interesting and personally rewarding than the work I get paid to do and thus serves to preserve my sanity.
