Sean Gaines
Ok, here it is in Cerakote Black. Also a homemade mild single undercut and sand grit scott type grip job. Done a hundred or so draws from kydex, it seems to be holding up ok so far. At least it won't rust now How do you like that spherical bushing? gun looks great! twodownzero
I don't know what it is about SVs, but every time I see one--and every one is different--I always think they look so cool. That STI with the fluting looks great, too. I have a folder full of pictures of everyone's slide cuts. Like riding a (customized) motorcycle, it's almost like seeing someone's personality built right into a limited gun. Wakal
Here is Liota's new toy. Still needs to be sandblasted, the flats polished, and finished in...something. She is debating the usual chrome, or Ionbond, or "copper" ionbond lower with black slide, or...well, she hasn't decided yet Alex
waktasz
I really like the copper Ionbond finish. You should do it and then post pictures.
Aircooled6racer
Alex: I have the same slide that Matt Cheely is blueing for me. Is Liota's a 9mm or a 40? Mine is a 40 with a bull barrel. I am going to Dura Coat the bottom on mine black. It will be all black. I think hard chrome would look great and last a long time for 3-gun stuff. Thanks, Eric
fastshooter03
I had a frame to play with so I decided to make a 6" even though it is a long/wide. Came in at 39OZ with some internal slide lightening. Sorta basic but I haven't coated it yet so more can be done. Nick
CMV
My 6" Cheely... Well, the frame anyway. It goes out to Matt this morning. It's finished (Matt sent me the pic), now just awaiting its arrival

CMV
It's even prettier in person. And yes he is, great to work with. I must have had 1K questions before and during his building it...he was always helpful and patient. Can't recommend him strongly enough if one wants a top notch custom build. splashdown
I count 9 cuts in the slide? Congratulations Matt, I think you hold the record. What's that slide weigh? My 6" Cheely...
