LChico
<some content snipped>He is survived by his wife, Deborah Carpenter Toler of the home; one daughter, Tamara Toler-Hall of Cheraw; two sons, Ralph Alvin Toler, Jr. of Hightstown, NJ, and Jason Thomas Toler of Cheraw; also, two grandchildren, Rozanna Toler-Williams of Charleston, SC, and Joanna Arielle Williams of Rock Hill, SC, and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Chesterfield County, P.O. Box 293, Chesterfield, SC 29709, or the USPSA Juniors Program. On a more personal note - Ralph and both son's are all USPSA members. Ralph was always the first person on the range to greet the new shooters. He was always bringing new people to the monthly USPSA match. Last January, he took a level 1 NROI class, and then immediately signed up to work as a staff RO at the SC Section championship in mid April. He wanted to give back to the sport he enjoyed. He was a wonderful ambassador for USPSA. Ralph is being laid to rest dressed in the Red match polo shirt from the 2007 SC Section match, and his shooting pants and shoes (at the request of his son's). He has one of my .45 caliber bullets in his pocket. I imagine tonight Ralph is looking down from heaven and wondering why we are making such a fuss. So many of us will miss him.
