MikeFoley
Corey, the first reload I did at the Production nationals, I went for a moonclip. Glock 17s don't take moonclips, sadly. You'll break out of it, but it's a hard transistion going from a man's gun to these wimpy "bucket of bullets" guns. Just think "shoot, shoot, shoot" and the reloads can be nice surprises. H. It isn't our fault you can't count past 6 without feeling the pressure. steel1212
A IDPA/USPSA outlaw match to benefit toys for tots at Oak Ridge yesterday. I was 5th out of 76 and it was a fun match...I still dropped to many points and have to do something about those 9mm single stack mags not seating well. steel1212
Good shooting, I really like the stage with three positions of "steel challenge" steel. Yeah, I was down 10 seconds to a buddy of mine that shoots a lot of steel going into that stage... I shot the stage in 17 but only gained I think 5 or 6 on him....it was a fun stage though. nice video of our match! thanks for coming to shoot with us...hope to make it up to Lex sometime to play with you guys.Mark Dye Mark I think we are going to have that SS/PRO match in the spring you should come up and kick my butt again lol. steel1212
I hate it when I can't make up my mind! I can't decide on a steel challenge .22. Here are my options that I'm looking at. I already have a .22 kimber conversion for my SS and it works great. I'm kind of wanting a conversion for my wide bodies so I was thinking about a Tacsol Then again I have a MKII just sitting the safe. It would need a new upper grips and a dot though what to do...what to do.....

steel1212
This was a interesting match indeed. None of us seemed to have our head on straight for some reason. We would burn down a stage just to screw up the next one. If HOA came out of our squad I should be in the top 3-4 if our ball park math was right. If I loose by a couple seconds I'm blaming it on the reshoot! I did some really stupid things today. On the table stage, why did I put the gun down like that? On the 3 on the left 3 on the right stage, why did I start on the right when I'm going to have to do a reload?

kgunz11
It's because you shot with Mike and Barry. I don't know how anyone can shoot around those guys. I'd be laughing so hard the gun wouldn't be able to settle on target!
Loose Brass
Because we all took a lethal dose of No-Brains prior to the match, that's why. Yeah, it's a damn bitter taste. A.T. It wasn't just your guys squad. The "no brains" was going around. I know I got wrapped up in it You know even though it was just our local IDPA Match. With the amount of shooter's (67 I think) and 7 challenging stages it felt almost like a major match to me.

want2race
Hey, I've got a pretty valid excuse this time. This match was about as disconnected as I've ever shot. I can barely tell you who was on my squad. Having my 4y/o son there for his first match was a pretty big distraction.
