It may be may specially for the Frrench, due to 45ACP is concidered a NATO caliber there, even though it isn't. The have 9 class of firearms license, class 9 being for NATO calibers. jasond
despite the fact i don't need a flashlight mount and those pretty grips look hard to sneak a moonclip past, i kind of dig it. never fired dropped once?

I know that the Nill grips(several sizes) for Bianchi Cup reload very well. As far as I am concerned, the Nill grips are the most comfortable grips (stocks- for the traditionalist) around for shooting Major in a Revolver. That's a real pretty gun. Daniele
I did not mention Nill grips and flashlight mount because they are in place with just 2 screws
revchuck
The grips seem to be made for ISSF/UIT shooting, and the 5" barrel would help it make the 48 ounce weight limit. If this is the case then I have no idea why they made it for moon clips or used the FO front sight, which are of no use in that type of shooting. Maybe a France-specific sport? R112mercer
Maybe a France-specific sport? Yes. I believe those grips are to allow the quickest draw-and-drop in the great Gallic game of "J'abandonne"
