chi
How would a 9mm Comm. slide work for a steel gun? any thoughts I can go with either a full length or the commander slide. thanks
Patrick Sweeney
It depends entirely on how you want your gun to feel in handling and recoil. The Commander will look more solid, and have a slghtly snappier recoil. You'll give up a bit of sight radius. You also have to be careful if you get the idea of fitting a Govt barrel to a Commander slide, as the bottom lug has to be modified ot properly fit. HANDGUNNER
I have did a 9mm steel gun using a commander slide with a 2 port briley tit comp, this makes for a shorter & lighter pistol thats just a little longer than a stock 5in gun.
