first big match??? would be my first match, back in 1989, lil indoor club, only shot two stages, i drove 140 miles to shoot w/ that club, and LOVED every minute of it, a great bunch of guys, they were and 'outlaw' ipsc group(using the rules as guidelines) what a blast...

past that??? would be the early western states matches when Cal was puttin em on, wont comment on the one's after he left...

2001 nationals, flying with a gun 4 days AFTER 9/11 what fun....Barry, UPSPA mecca as it were??? was starstruck for a bit till i realized their range had just as many bullet holes in their barricades as our home range does, and the squad was a who's who of people you find in the pages of american handgunner and front sight so it was a real blast hangin with em even thru the hail and rain and tornado's....
