Perry F.
The Dawson FO Front Sight I purchased for my G19, does not fit in the oval hole on the slide. It wil not go down into the hole and fit flush. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Is it possible the FS was cut to big? Thanks, Perry
Trey
I've had to "tap" mine in and it fits in very snug. Is your fit too loose or too tight? Too tight, use a rubber mallet and try to tap it in. I used a piece of wood on top of the sight to protect it from the hammer. Hope that helps. Perry F.
Trey, Thanks for thee advice. I flipped the slide over with the sight partially in and pressed it down on the workbench. The sight went in. Perry Edited March 10, 2007 by Perry F.
Trey
Perry, Glad to help. I'm glad you got it in. Did you also blue loc tite the screw as well? That will help keep it from backing out. I always do with mine. Once I put it in, I want it to stay in.
