JayC
Hi guys. I have an old pair of Tactical 7S muffs that the ear pieces and the microphone covers need replaced on. I got on Peltor's website, but they don't list anything for parts. Does anyone know if I can get these items and where? Or is it time to get a new set of something else and recommendations? All I've ever used are Peltor's muffs and have no complaints about them. Thanks.
Ed Deegan
I have a pair of 7's and 2 pair of the 6's as well. I sent them back (the 7's) for some repairs and due to a minor glitch at the repair shop, had to return them. They even sent UPS to pick them up from me. The young lady whose name escapes me couldn't have been nicer. The best thing to do is to call their tech support at 1-800-665-2942. I bought some of the foam inserts and the plastic coated caps and they were fairly inexpensive. With shipping it was less than 20 bucks and I bought 8 foams and 2 covers. Best Regards, Ed
George
I have always just replaced my Peltors whenever they wear out, or break. As cheap as they are, I have never considered repairing them versus just plain replacing them.
yoshidaex
Here you go. They have them in stock too. Double check to see if this kit will fit the ones you have. The foam for the mic isn't included. Not sure where you can get them from but wouldn't ones for a regualr mic work (small wireless ones you see newscasters use). But he's talking about the Tactical 7S which runs about $130/pair. -Chet
