Here's a pic of my SS gun. Its a SA Loaded that I bought new in 1999. Since then, I installed a Dawson ICE magwell and last year a great local smith, Rick Hebert, fit a new Kart barrel with bushing and EGW small parts with a trigger job. About 10 years ago, another smith from Denver, name I cant remember, took out the factory front blade and put in FO its wearing now. Its nothing fancy, and it has a few miles, but it does run.

Here's my first build (with help from Bob Rodgers and his RYO class), Caspian slide/frame, Kart barrel, Wilson, Ed Brown, a Colt internals.

I've had this since May, I'm at 3,300 or so rounds and I have yet to have a malfunction.

Well here she is with her grips and arched main spring housing (Im used to Glock)

She took about 180rds to get her good and broke in and she is tight and accurate! A few placed here and there when learning things but to not know how to do any of this let alone never owning, using or seeing a mill until I bought mine she has turned out well. I had a great teacher!

Nice. I love the look of a clean slide - no roll marks, branding, FCS or other crap. Its just........clean. Very nice build.

It's official. I am diving into SS. Ken switched me to SS from Production and I will be shooting my first major with this gun at Area 4.

42.8oz with the Dawson mag!

Basic SARO with:
- Dawson .100 wide FO Front Sight
- Smith Alexander Magwell/MSH
- 8lb recoil spring
- EGW Open Recoil Plug
- Wilson Combat Extended Mag Release
- 10-8 Performance Extended Slide Stop (38/9mm)
- STI Ambi Safety
- Dawson's 300109A Trigger group

I have an SVI Long Flat Curved trigger for it, but I wanted to spend some time with the new trigger group and get use to it before I changed out the trigger. Pretty stoked about this. It is a excellent shooting pistol.
