KAL
I got a couple of Dillon powder drops that were acquired second hand. The previous owner never emptied the powder out of them and they are stained so brown you almost can not see through them. I tried sticking them in the ultra sonic with a 50/50 simple green mix. No luck, Anyone know of something better??

Most popular powder measures sell spares as a basic consumable part item. Chuck it and by a new one.
lynn jones
there really isn't any cure for the discoloration. the only answer is to dump the powder back in the original container. lynn
GentlemanJim
All of my powder measures look that way . And my dillon presses are so old they are now kinda dillon turquoise. But it all still works Jim
Aircooled6racer
Hello; On cars they call it patina ;-). The only way I can see to clean the plastic up would be to polish it to remove the surface stain. There is no way to tell how deep the stain is though. Polishing the inside is going to be difficult as well. Thanks Eric
Charlie Vanek
Try "Plexus" it's a plastic cleaner, protectant, and polish that you can pick up at motorcycle shop's. FWIW: Works great on polymer magazines and frames and won't leave a oily residue.
George
Why worry, I wouldn't. Most of mine are that way and I just go with it. I have a well lit area and I can easily see how much powder is in even the worst discolored one. Not an issue in my book.

LPatterson
Buy a low powder sensor then you won't have to worry about seeing inside the powder measure.
