warpspeed
I cancelled 2 phones with Sprint/Nextel back in November. I knew one was early and was going to cost me but I figured it was worth getting rid of a sub-standard POS. Over an hour on the phone. Being transfered around. And here is the kicker. They cannot provide me with a copy of the agreement. They say they don't have to. WTF ? I do not distpute I had a contract but I thought it was for one year. They say it was two. I say prove it and they say they won't. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRG!
GentlemanJim
The expression (GOT ME BY THE BALLS) comes to mind Jim
hitman
Mention the consumer protection act and FCC telecom fraud division. That should take care of it. If not say see you in court and sew them in your local.
uscbigdawg
I had a problem with Sprint when I came back from Korea. After some patience on both sides, and working through the problem, standing firm and being consistent, it was completely resolved. I try to keep in mind that a lot of these companies deal with people always trying to get away with something and have got a little bitter when it comes to customer service. I'm not saying it's right, just saying it is. Go to the nearest Sprint store and see if you can work it out at that level. I've found that the store managers have a good of flexibility when it comes to rectifying problems with service/support. Rich

I have spent the last 8 years trying to build an awesome network and our customer service kick us in the balls! I know our network is not the best everywhere but we kill in Texas! Our companys largest problem is customer service! I know our network is one of the best! Spent 10 years with AT&T wireless! Please go to a local store, I am betting they can help help you a lot better! I am going on 20 years of playing with phones!! I wish I could do more, but I am a lonely switch manager! Front Man
NEXTEL rocks here! Don't know about Sprint; and I know they are merged. My NEXTEL dealer is awesome too, except they are a 30' drive away. And I know all of that could change with the stroke of a pen. (Equity companies are taking a hard look at Alltel right now,) FM

Genghis
The kicker is, if they can't produce the agreement, they'll have a hard time fighting you in court. I'm sure they have a clause in there that chooses some remote court in the event of a dispute. Doesn't help them if they can't put their hands on it! The part that amazed me was they admit they can't produce it because they don't have it. They then say it doesn't matter. WTF ? It matters to me.
