maduce
I know this won't help most of the shooters in this forum, but we are getting lots interest from new shooters, who are hesitant about shooting a match because they have never shot a 3-gun venue before. Tiger Valley has a One day 3-gun prep February 3, 2007. The objective of this class is to shoot stages, then discuss mistakes and correct them on the next run. We plan on doing several runs through each stage to improve times and techniques. This is a great class for the new shooter or an advanced shooter just looking to tune-up for his next real match. The cost of this one day class is $125.00 shooters will need 250 rifle/pistol and 50 bird shot.
Heavy Metal Only
You have to just go for it. No one wins right off the bat. I started with a .45 ruger, armilite .308 and a franchi 12 g. shotgun and simply entered. I had some Mel-function problems with everything, but I made a lot of new friends who helped me all the way, I didn't finish the match, but I pulled out a last place. Now I want more. Good luck to all who at least try.
