CSEMARTIN
I found the reamers for sale at Brownells.com, but I couldn't find the oversized pins. Does anyone know who sells them? Is it worth the hassle? Thanks.
Action Pistolero
Bob Marvel has them. (Not the Bob Marvel of 22 conversion fame) Brownell's used to carry them. He's out of Maryland but I can't get to his number right now. You could call Brownell's tech line and they could help you out. I ordered those reamers that you are talking about and I believe the one for the hammer pin is not big enough. I chucked a drill bit in my drill backwards and used lapping compound until the pin would go in. Are they worth it? I think so. I use them in all of my competition 1911's. These pins along with a quality hammer and sear is how I get trigger pulls down to 1 pound.
