Quick Question On Sti Disassembly

I am replacing the long trigger with a short one .

DO you have to remove the funny grip screw bushings to remove the grip.

And do they just push out??

Yes, they have to come out. Unscrew the grip screw about halfway, then push on the allen wrench, loosen and push again. They should fall out.

Yes, they have to come out. Use a drift punch and tap them out. Note the flat on one side, that has to line up with the frame for reassembly.-------Larry
