slow42
Just looking to know if they are on par with Wilsons, and some good and or bad experiences. My LesBaer came with a Wilson mag... no mag related problems so far... Peter
CSEMARTIN
The base pads break on the Les Baer mags. Stick with the Wilson Combats.
boo radley
The one that came with my Premier II, which I bought a little over a year ago, was pure junk. I've used aluminum foil that was thicker.
itchy
I have a Premier II that's about 7 years old. It came with Metalform mags and J&J basepads. Wait, let me clarify, it came with one Metalform magazine with a J&J basepad. I bought more from Brownell's and have never had a problem. One of my friends sold me 8 round Wilson magazines that would not seat in my gun. (I wonder why he was selling them.) I ended up giving them away. Bill H
I had a follower break in one of mine in 45. Baer replaced it but I don't trust the mags now. They would not be my 1st choice.
SoonerPast
They are a bit easier to seat in my PII than Wilson's or CM's, but they don't seem as smooth when loading, like the follower doesn't slide as freely up and down within the mag tube. When it comes time to replace the spring and follower, I'll use Wilson guts.
