00bullitt
Can someone tell me who makes the longest magazine release without adding a button that is still in production? Is .060" longer the longest available? Edited December 20, 2006 by 00bullitt
LPatterson
I'm confused, are you looking for an extended mag release or an extended slide release? In either case, Wilson is a good choice ordered from Brownells.
00bullitt
Anybody? I have a Wilson now. Its still a bit short for my liking.
LPatterson
The largest mag releases I can find in Brownell's are the Wilson 965-405-100 blue or 965-405-101 SS or the STI Button in blue only 791-00-010.
00bullitt
I am not looking for a button or extension. I want the longest tactical magazine release catch. I currently have the Wilson 965-031-020 from Brownells. It does not specify how long over a factory catch it is. Only says slightly longer. If it is .040" longer I can gain .020" by going with the Ed Brown or McCormick that states .060" longer. Is that the longest available without adding a button? Aircooled6racer
Hello: I know the Kimber mag release and the McCormick extended release are the same length. If you still find the release still too short you can relieve the grip to allow you more space. Hope this helps. Thanks Eric
