John Heiter
Something that helps me is to drop the room temp a few degrees. I find I'm a lot less restless at night in a cooler room. I don't know about you but I'm pretty well "insulated" so the colder the better. Also find that air movement helps and the white noise of a slowly turning fan are good things. The sound of silence is completely deafening to me when I try to sleep. I have run a fan when I sleep since I was a teenager. That ROAR masks most everything else so that you aren't listening to the dogs bark in the neighborhood. dj
DanM
One other thought... how much exercise are you getting??? The food angles mentioned make a difference for me. So does setting my sleep schedule up to wake up early - during match season, I try to keep my sleep schedule waking me up at 6am. I also do regular exercise (except for the past month - and I haven't slept so nicely the past month, so...)"Some of the older guys"??? Sheesh... you're only 36, man I ment to seek advice from someone older than me, lol.. It seems that all the guys I know around my dads age (55+) all seem to sleep about 4-5 hours a night. I've always been a solid 8-9hr a night sleeper until now. EricW motivated me to get my fat a$$ back on my bicycle yesterday so that should help big time. This week I'll probably ride about 60 miles. When I really ramp up, I should be back to riding 150+ miles a week. No problems sleeping then FedEx tracking shows the 650 ON THE TRUCK! I KNOW I'll be up all night now baby! I've thought of shooting MOR but the thought of pulling the handle on that thing just kills me. Now if I could just hook the 650 up to the bike I'd be set! All we need from there is a wheel with boots to kick you in the ass to make you ride faster.

I was calling my then girlfriend by different names and urinating in the dishwasher See a specialist, and good luck with the meds!
ErikW
Somebody turned me on to melatonin years ago. It helps keep you in a deep sleep, less likely to wake up at little things.
