johnb
The dates of June 15-17 are going to change because of the conflict with the Cal Poly Graduation. I emailed Nelson Dymond the M.D. and he confirmed but didn't have any new dates yet. He said he would get them out ASAP. I know some of you have already made hotel reservations at least. So, I soon as I hear anything, I'll post it here.

Bubber
I do not see what the big deal is being in conflict with Cal-Poly. I ain't grajiatin. I recall driving through the campus there with our guns in back taking a short cut to the match. From what I can remember we always were in that area. It does make it hard on those that must plan well in advance as with underlug and many more. Ratz!! I hope it works out that the dates are doable for all concerned. rdd
TMC
What's the big deal, the first two years I went it was on the same weekend. Other than crowded resturants and a bit more traffic is was no big deal. I sure hope its not on the 8-10th, some of us have already sent entries to the Iron Man. Patrick Sweeney
Actually, Jun 1-3 works better for me. I might actually make the IRC once before I get too old, slow and forget how to shoot.

They moved the match date, at least in part, because hotels are harder to find and the already ridiculous prices get jacked up even further. cliffwalsh
The good news is the hotels were cheaper on the new date. I know some shooters already bought plane tickets and they are not so easy to change. Hope everyone can still go...
8shooter
WOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOO ..... I confirmed with Vic Pickett today the 1-3 is locked in which means I can do both Bianchi and IRC on the same trip over..... to those that say big deal.... each trip over to the USA in the last 4 years have averaged around $8000 so it now means $4000 per match rather than $8000 for one, that and I get to catch up with a lot of guys I haven't seen since the 2005 IRC. Brace yourselves another bloody aussie is coming ....
10mmdave
It stinks that dates change, but at least this was well in advance and I think most of the airlines charge a max. of $100 for the date change to your tickets. Maybe the lower hotel fee's will offset the charge. The last date change came too late and affected a bunch of folks, this one will work against me also it looks like, oh well, there's always 2008 ! I am glad this is working out well for some. Despite the administrative mis-steps this is still the best revolver party going, largely because of the people who shoot it. Have fun

sargenv
Well, I'll be happy to see all of you who are coming out. I may even be shooting a 627 this year. Depends on how it comes along, I did just pick one up today and am now awaiting the transfer to my FFL and then the 10 day wait.. I figure I should have it in about 3 weeks. Oh damn, now I need to get new moons, and those fancy tools I see all you guys using. Vince
