spankymac
I have a G34 that that my son has taken over and is now wanting to shoot major with on a low budget. I have friend that has offered me a new G35 barrel, slide and mags. Will this swap work? If so what else is needed? Thanks for your time to advise
nphd2000
I'm certainly not an armorer but if it's a 3rd gen frame (3 pin) it will work. I shoot a stock G17 top end on a stock G35 bottom end for Production (don't tell anyone ) and in Open I shoot a comped G35 top end on a tricked out G17 bottom end. (It's a long story but it works.) The 9mm ejector will work with the .40 but it is easy and inexpensive to change. Hell I even use .40 mags loaded with 9mm in the G17 (or would that be the 35 (with the 17 top end?) anyway) it will feed but use the proper mags for the caliber. ihatepickles
Replace the fire control housing as well, Brownells part number 100-002-713 is correct for .40 S&W.
Nik Habicht
And make sure the G34 receiver is a three pin receiver..... Locking Block the same?
Rik
If you decide to sell the G34 slide, let me know. Thanks, Rik
want2race
The 34 and 35 locking blocks are listed as two different parts in the Glock armorer book. However, they "look" identical. I'd give them a call and find out for sure. They are $10 or $15 I think, my book is at work. The trigger control mech with ejector is $3. Might as well swap that over. Trigger with trigger bar is the same. S

kmitchl
I have a stock G34 and a G35 with a grip reduction. I swap slides between the two all the time with no problem. I change nothing other than the slide assembly. Never a hick-up. Keith
spankymac
I've got it up and running now. After 3 matches it is working great. I have a parts order coming this week to replace sights, barrel, and guide rod Spankymac
Garrett
I've swapped 9mm & .40 top ends on several Glocks with no problems. The only real difference is the ejector. The .40 ejector has worked fine with the 9mm top end, and vice-versa.
