carinab
What is your text charge when you use 35893 kb at .002 cents per kilobyte? Google does the math correctly.... But a certain wireless carrier does not.... The audio file is kinda funny too....

Flatland Shooter
Obviously Verizon has the time honored policy of promoting employees until they are no longer dangerous. Sounds like he may have spoke to the future CEO.

carinab
I don't know that you could find a way to may them understand. I would have tried to get them to shift the decimal place. $0.002 = two thousandths of a dollar $0.00002 = two thousandths of a cent $0.01 (one penny) x .002 = $.00002

p99shooter
Verizon allowed someone to falsely open a cell account under my name (claimed to be my son and I didn't have children at the time), didn't show the other account on my bill so I had no idea it existed, until.... The fraudster tried to pay his cell phone bill with a stolen credit card. Verizon froze *my* cell phone, and when I called to inquire I found out about the whole mess. Verizon does a fraud investigation, finds that the account was truly fraudulent, and terminates it. And then... wait for it... sends me a bill for $200+ dollars; early termination of contract penalty! They reversed it, but still folks. Rob Boudrie
The little guy wins for a change No, Verizon won. They got out of the mess by refunding one individual out of hundreds charged a rate 100x advertised, and were not compelled to review all billing records and issue refunds to all inappropriately billed people. By giving this individual a refund, they have removed his standing to be a member of a class action suit against the company. What would be really interesting is if one of those firms that trolls for contingency class action cases took it. The only thing is, the way class actions go, the attorneys would get paid in cash and members of the plaintiffs class would get discounts redeemable only with a purchase of additional Verizon services. splashdown
Here's another... Went to Wendy's tonight. Gave the girl a $10 and she owed me $4.xx in change. As she started counting out the four dollars, I said "oh, let me give you another dollar and you can give me a five back." Her face just glazed over as she said, "please don't confuse me." I had to explain it very slowly... "OK, you owe me $4 right? Take this dollar, now you owe me $5. (Still confused look.) Trust me, you won't get in trouble for this."
