Jim Norman
Truth exists even in a tongue in cheek comment. No, we don't need a 2008 thread, wha we do need is a policy where the Nationals are scheduled far enough out that we know where the vnext will be before the current is over. I would like to see maybe a two year cycle. Hold a particluar match two years aat a given range, not a problem if htey want to hold a different match the next two years and repaet, but this would move the matches around a bit and would also move some of the shooters around a bit more. It would also allow a range to invest for a two year recouping of expense, rather than a one shot deal. Obviously much more complex thatn this, but a general idea. EricBudd
So, where are the 2008 Nationals going to be? Inquiring minds want to know.
Jim Norman
So for this we get a new thread, but for trying to separate the hotel/steakhousee/beerhall drift from the When/Where thrust of the 2007 Nationals we didn't. Sorry, I guess my sense of humor is a bit out of tune as of late. Jim
davidball
Should we start the 2008 thread now... ??? Nope, we can wait until the day after USPSA announces the 2007 "when, where, format". Then we go for it.
Jim Norman
Without a trace of humor he said: If we could get the 2007 by the end of this month and had an assurance that by say June of 2007 we'd have the 2008 dates and locations wouldn't that be wonderful? Maybe we are accomplishing something here beside trying to learn how to type. Jim

Jim Norman
OK, What am I missing here? Seems that the location that is so humid is not in the above posts. Are we considering Louisiana ? Jim

LPatterson
By the time the 2008 Nationals get here are we going to have a new rulebook?
Jim Norman
Word on the street is that we will have a new rulebook out for member review and comment very soon. It will be amended and adopted by March 2007 with an effective date of 1-1-08. It will be the USPSA rulebook. IPSC rules matches will then on be run under strict IPSC Rules and USPSA Matches will run under strict USPSA Rules. Jim
