I have been shooting ARs for about 8 years in 3-Gun events and have fired about 15000 rounds. I use 30 round Thermolds as my main mag. I have never had a mag related failure using these mags. I recently tried the Thermold 30/45 mag and even with the ISMI spring Benny recommends, found it less then 100%. I bought Midway's 40 rd mag and after putting in a green follower and the ISMI spring that I tried in the Thermold, have found a reliable combo. I own but have found no use for a 20 round mag.
