Julien Boit
The rulebook says that if the gun meet the production or limited (standard) criteria, the gun MAY not be entered in Modified . Please refresh my memory, may is the conditionnal, right ? If it was forbidden , it would say "Can't be entered" right ? Alexakos , which is currently in France for the Open nat, stated that if a limited shooter choose to shot in modified, he could but if he's on the podium, He will be retired and will have to let his place to a "real" modified shooter. Which article in the Rulebook state this ? DVC Julien (Edited by Julien Boit at 9:07 am on Aug. 8, 2002)
ErikW
may not = can not But you can do something like add a thumb rest, which makes it Modified legal.
Vince Pinto
Julien, In English, the word "may" means something is optional, however "may not" is the same as "shall not", "will not" or (as Eric says) "cannot". In other words, you are not allowed. (Edited by Vince Pinto at 1:48 am on Aug. 10, 2002)

skeeter
i think what the guys do is change the slide stop to one with a rest for the off hand not legal for limited so good for modified.
