Creative Products Stainless Steel Ar Mags

I picked up up a new Creative Products stainless steel 30 round AR mag a few days ago. CP Mags It looks exactly like a USGI aluminum mag, dark grey with a "mar-lube” finish. It’s slightly heavier than a USGI aluminum mag, but not as heavy as the HK or Imperial Defense steel mags.

The seams were well executed and the follower is either a Magpul or Magpul-type anti-tilt follower. I read somewhere (maybe AR15.com) that the regular Magpul followers will not work in these mags, but Magpul is making one just for it.

I shot about 150 rounds through this mag the other day. It ran 100%. These are about $18 a piece on the web site. Are they better than USGI with a Magpul follower? Only time and use will tell, but they seem more rugged, won't rust and they're only about $5 more. I plan to buy more.
