Duane Thomas Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Later this year, Primedia will be doing a one-shot on tactical equipment. I have an assignment to do an article on hydration systems. I already have the Blackhawk HydraStorm II in-house. What other hydration systems would you guys suggest I include in the article?
.40AET Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Camelback Mule or Hawg. Take a look at the entire Camelback line, there may be something you like that's more appropriate for shooting.
Nik Habicht Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 I'd be interested in at least a mention of the various backpacks that take hydration modules.......
Scooter Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Camelbak is the company that created the hydration bladders back around 1990.
Sixgun Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 How about throwing in a "cheapie" hydration bladder that they sell in some cycling magazines. Mine was like $20.00 and is made by Blackburn. It's not the most high tech, but it holds water and keeps it relatively cool. Ray
Scooter Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Another one to look at is http://www.platypushydration.com/about_us/home.aspx?Inside=2 I had one of the bladders that came with my Alpine Lowe backpack.
Duane Thomas Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Thanks, guys. I'll be calling all the suggested companies shortly.
